Sawtell Beach is a well maintained town beach, with a vegetated natural foredune separating the 2km long beach from the backing township. The beach is accessible from the surf club and caravan park and a few fenced tracks across the dune. There is a large car park and good views on Bonville Head, and also parking for the rock pool on the southern side and a beach boat ramp.
